Career Journey:
Following a successful investment banking career, Ahmet has held senior leadership roles at several start-ups (pre-seed to Series A) with three exits. He was on the Board and U.S. Country Manager at Phorm, a U.K. publicly listed innovative digital technology company. Ahmet grew the U.S. office from five to 100 employees, playing a major leadership role during the company’s rapid growth to $1 billion capitalization.
Following Phorm, he was the first executive hire at innRoad, a SaaS hospitality company where he spearheaded global finance, operations, and customer support. Most recently, he was Head of Finance and Operations at Boomset, a leader in the event technology sector, spearheading the sale to Hopin at a premium valuation.
Ahmet has led finance, operations, human resources, and customer success teams in the e-commerce, online advertising, hospitality, and event tech industries. He is interested in working with CEOs/founders of high-growth start-ups that are looking to optimize operations and set a foundation to scale.
